I thought the thumbpad would be the way to play MPH but that doesn't work out too good. It gets in the way. I can see why they phased it out. I like using the stylus though.

I like DMC3. I'm not loving it on GoW level but I don't know if anything can duplicate that feeling. And I suck at DMC like a mutha. I can't get past the second mission. dow

I haven't even put SotC in yet. That's a shame.

BTW, does anybody know anyplace I could buy PS1 memory cards. I lost the one I had and one wasn't enough anyway.

After reading this post, I figured it was time for me to get Shadows of the Colossus, as well. I picked it up this afternoon and already obliterated the first two colossi. Oh man, it's like Ico after an adrenaline shot to the heart. Amazing.

I have money so naturally I had to blow some of it on games. What else was I gonna get? Anyways, here's what I bought:

Black DS Lite. Finally! With Best Buy 2 yr replacment plan of course.
Metroid Prime Hunters. I like it.
Devil May Cry 3 SE. Dante is the embodiment of unbridled badassery.
Shadow of the Colossus
Legacy of Kain Defiance. Played SR1 and BO2, have BO1. Still need to get SR2.
YuGiOh Duelists of the Roses. I like YuGiOh but this ain't YuGiOh. They need to make a DS wifi YGO game so I can be happy.

I should probably put some effort into finishing some of these games I've had forever though.

Yeah, if you don't then you are going to be real confused during Defiance. Probably the largest chunk of the over all story is from SR2.

OK, I'll hold off on Defiance until I get SR2, I'm going to play through the whole series when I get a PS1 memory card for BO1. Except BO2 because I have that for Xbox and no longer have the XBox to play it on. Not that it was very good anyway.

Also, I suck at Metroid multiplay. I played a game against RubicN64 and a regional against 3 people of "matching rank". I haven't made a single kill.

Chuck, it helps if the other 3 players never played Metroid Prime Hunters before

I'm stuck in adventure mode of MPH because I don't know how to double bomb jump. This is my own fault for not playing any previous Metroids except 2 on GB more than a decade ago.

Double bomb jump is EASY! All you do is lay a bomb on the ground then when the bomb throws you in the air quickly lay another bomb.

So how long of a game is SotC? I am thinking about getting this pretty soon once I am done moving. I looked it up on amazon and its about 20$ is that how much it usually is now?

It's about ten hours, less if you just go straight from boss to boss.
