    Oh god, Morrowind

I know, Oblivion's out and I'm out of date, but I've never played an Elder Scrolls game before and liked it. Now it's FFXI and Morrowind and Shadow of the Colossus...

My school grades are going to go to hell and back at this rate.
    ...and that's why.

I just got back into Morrowind, such an addicting game with all those mods out there.

I got the better bodies, texture revamp (makes the game look REALLY nice, without yout computer blowing up), GIANTS, my very own scythe mod, and a bunch others.

I have to say, there is something about Morrowind that I like better than Oblivion. Not sure what.

But I just loved exploring in Morrowind because it seemed to have more history in it's dungeons then Oblivion.

I played a Reguard warrior in Morrowind, but I am playing a dark elf theif in Oblivion.

If I find it again I'll let you know, Plus I'll get some comparison pictures from IGN to mine, in about half an hour. Because I can't really remove the files without removing the textures.

EDIT: Ok might be longer, I just screwed up with a NOCD so I have to find the CD again and do a bunch of stuff first...

I can't play Morrowind anymore with the leveled-challange that's in Oblivion.

Really, when I can get the Necromancer's Amulet, Boots of Blinding Speed, Acylote's Curiass, and the High-Mage's Staff all at level 1...there isn't much point in playing the game anymore.

                Re: Oh god, Morrowind

When I used to play Morrowind, I probably had 150 hours between two chatacters. The reason I stopped playing is because one character got two of these rings that poison enemies. Each ring works multiple times every day, and it was so easy to let an enemy (even a really strong one) get close enough to you to poison it, then continually back away from it until either it dies, or you blast it with another jet of poison, after which almost all enemies would go down. It was just ridiculously easy...not to mention the cheat(I'm talking about the Xbox version...I don't have a computer) that allows a refill of health, magic, and fatigue meters. It just wasn't fun anymore. And after all those hours playing, I probably only had 1/3 to 1/2 of the map uncovered, and was nowhere close to solving it. I spent most of my time going on the side quests to eventually get myself a base where I could drop all the stuff that was so overpriced that nobody would buy it. I didn't want to lose it, but I couldn't really sell it either without "losing" a bunch of money...Yeah, after a while, I just gave up.

I don't have Oblivion, but Morrowind is still fun. I've got it for computer, with the Bloodmoon/Tribunal expansions.

I dont know what you guys saw in morrowind, i found it really really boring.

However i thought Oblivion was great...

But if you guys are wanting a game that beats both of those, try out the Gothic series.

I THINK this is the texture mod.
