    Ah, didn't know that. Sucky that only one is available in a playthrough, but at least it's possible to find people who would want to trade the type they don't have.

      Why not just get a gameshark for rare pokemn? Prob gonna cost you the same as gas+time.

        It's is only needed for Deoxys and Mew. Anything else will get you branded a cheater. Everything is availible, so why cheat for it? I myself have two Deoxys' and I use my gameshark to help my friends, help make breeding easier and the like. But others wouldn't just do that. They'd do dumb crap like put their pokes stats to 999, or have a Charizard with Ice Beam, Surf, Spikes and Needle Arm. I wouldn't get one if it wasn't for that damn Nintendo

          The last time I used a Gameshark to get a promotional Pokemon, I wound up recieving a Mew with a Ratatta's stats. Besides, I don't feel like cheating, even if Nintendo's cheating us out.

            Well it's not like that anymore. But there is a little problem if you want to create a Deoxys and Mew out of thin air. They are flawed. They will not obey you, save for link battles. And I mean it, THEY WILL NOT LISTEN.

            But, to brag a bit, over in my old middle school, I was the best battler in the school. With a win record of 156 and loss record of 27. I whupped ass

                  Okay, from now on, when someone asks if a certain older Pokemon is in the game, assume that they are asking if it's in there without having to trade.

                    More news:

                    * The Pokémon you encounter at the start of the game are Mukkuru, Subomi (does that confirm the theory of it being the sihlouetted Pokémon?), Buizeru, Perappu and three new Pokémon of names; Garinan,Samusamu & Maasura
                    * The first Gym leader, Zack, is a ground type Gym and he has Two Diglett at Level 12 and a Level 15 Maasura
                    * There is a new attack called Giga Horn

                    Another Ground/Rock type gym, YAY! But if Maasura(Muscler) is Ground/Fighting, Perrap and Mukkuru will own that poor thing into submission.

                    BTW just a useless bit of info. Three pokes that are definatly gonna be on my team are Blaziken, Elekible, and Lucario. I already got a tag team move set for Blaziken and Elekible:

                    Blaziken(Bubbles)@Quick Claw
                    Ability: Blaze
                    Thunderpunch
                    Flamethrower
                    Earthquake/Rock Slide
                    Double Team

                    Elekible(Mitsurugy)@ N/A
                    Ability: Electric Engine
                    Double Team
                    *Unknown
                    *Unknown
                    *Unknown

                    I plan to use Double Team with both of them for about three turns, and then I plan to T.Punch my Elekible so it can gain a speed boost, then I plan to sweep. Also, I'm naming my pokes after the nicknames of my friends.

                        And also, Diamond and Pearl were released yesterday. serebii.net has almost all the info on D/P. I love the new typing and the new evos to old pokes like Magmar, and Tangela.

                          Pokemon Diamond & Pearl have sold nearly 1.6 million in the first FOUR DAYS! That's almost double what New SMB (the previous fastest selling DS game) sold in its first week. DP are already the fastest selling of all Pokemon versions. It's bananas. Diamond is outselling Pearl btw.

                              Diamond is outselling Pearl btw.
                              Diamonds are flashier than pearls.

                                anyone knows if the games are special colors? it'd be cool to have a transparent DS game (for diamond).
