Bastard won't go down. Three tries tonight, wipped at 1% and then 2%. It makes me cry.

If you press Shift+Prnt Scrn, you will get a screenshot without the user interface (the names and such).

The top and bottom bars are Titan Panel.

I use discordbars for my button layout.

Also, pick up Auctioneer, and if you use a gather skill, Gatherer is great.

agreed, auctioneer has made me 90% of my cash in WoW. course, you can't use the AH when you're playing on a trial account..

                      Re: Pavilion MMORPG Pics

Perl unit frames is the health bar mod. It's pretty slick.

Picking up gatherer is essential for gathering skills (obviously).

I just use the built on bar mods in CTmod for my action bars. I highly recommend picking Ctmod (and Ctraid assist) up if you actually play the game. Does a lot of things, and CTraid is generally required for endgame raiding guilds, just because it makes things easier on everyone.

                        Re: Pavilion MMORPG Pics

                        My mods are the following

                        -Titan
                        -Perl
                        -Confab
                        -Cleanbar advanced
                        -Meta Map
                        -Move anything
                        -Auctioneer
                        -CTRaid
                        -CTMod
                        -Loot tracker
                        -Vendorsearch

So esssentially with perl, cleanbar, and confab, I stripped the original wow interface becuase it was ugly and bulky. Hella lame.

                          Re: Pavilion MMORPG Pics

                          I pimped my UI with:

-Atlas (gives you in-game instance maps, which is always nice for finding bosses)
-BankItems (lets you see your bank contents even when you aren't in a bank city)
-Aspected (puts Hunter Aspects, Priest Shadowform and Shaman Ghost Wolf on a Shapeshift bar)
                          -CTMod bars
                          -CTRaid Assist
-Defense Tracker (for tracking World Defense happenings)
-Equip Compare (mouseover items and your currently equipped item shows up next to it in a smaller window, kinda useful)
                          -Gatherer (love this)
-MonkeyQuest (WAY better than the ingame Quest tracking feature)
                          -Scrolling Combat Text (essential)
-Spell Alert Scrolling Combat Text (nice to let you know what a mob or player is casting)
-Telo's SelfCast (I may get rid of this and use CTMod's SelfCast button option)
-SellValue (visit a vendor and it saves the sell value of an item you have, great for determining minimum bids)
-Titan Bar package, minus ZoneSpeed and Defense, since those seem to screw with my UI.
-TurnIn (allows for one-click repeatable quest turnins)
-WeaponQuickSwap (??? Haven't used this one yet)

                          So, uh, yeah.

I don't use mods. I'd rather try and be skilled at using the original interface. CTRaidAssist is probably the only mod I would use, simply to monitor the raid's health and decide appropriate action.

Oh yes. Keep the pics going!

At what level do you need to start partying or whatever?

I'm a Tauren Warrior 12... and things are seeming to go kinda slow now. Having white gear (can't bid on the AH, trial character) seems to be a bit of an obstacle compared to the cheap green gear. I'm struggling to kill level 13-14 monsters now, before I could down stuff 1-2 levels higher like cake, now I'm getting knocked around a good bit before they die.

And the character is on my friends computer... how do I tell what add-ons are already installed, and how do I install the ones you listed, Ivalice? Or does the website explain it easily enough? (don't want you to waste time explaining if it's complicated and the site outlines it simple enough)

And how does the Warlock's "Ritual of Summoning" work? It says it summons a targeted party member... but if they're targeted why would you need to summon them? Does it open a portal for their ghost to get back to their corpse so they don't have to walk? Or opens a portal for them if they're really far away?

I like the thought of Paladin, but not the thought of being a healbot with plate mail in end game runs. Rogue doesn't appeal to me, Warrior/Mage/Shaman seems like it'd be ok but low preference, Priest/Hunter = no thanks, and Druid seems pretty nifty but also like a healbot endgame.

I guess the main jobs I like the thought of are Paladin, Druid, and Warlock. Warrior and Shaman seem nice too, with Mage being a low end considerable. Priest and Hunter are just... not quite my cup of tea.

Any advice on picking a particular job? I'm going to try out a Druid and a Warlock tonight and get them to level 5 each or so and see how they play. MAYBE a Shaman as well, but not sure yet. What are the end game jobs of Paladin/Druid/Warlock? How good are Druids who do the Feral Combat thing vs. curing? Are the Warlock's Ritual of Doom & Inferno summons any good, or any of their summons in general? What race (racial traits mainly, heard starting stats don't matter) benefit which of those 3 jobs the best? What crafts pair with them? I read the site over and over about Paladins/Druids/Warlocks, but I just don't know... I guess I want you people's input on it. I'm seriously looking into getting a new motherboard/processor + RAM strictly for THIS GAME, and I want to be sure it's fun and something I could really see myself doing.

In the end of it all, if I get a real account... I'll probably do all three (alliance of course) and make a Tauren Warrior again just for kicks. Just a matter of which one I really wanna focus on.
