i just finished up the dreamcast version last night, clocking in a little over 50 hours.
the story is good, i like the characters, but the battles are just too long for the wrong reasons. flying around trying to search for Discoveries is completely annoying with random battles.
the best part about it though is definitely the sense of new world exploration it gives you. from passing through the dark rift to submerging down into the deep sky, it feels like a real-life journey through unknown territory at times. another great part is the bond that develops between vyse, aika & fina. the games ends in a very fufilling way and i hope they never make a direct sequel.
i beat Skies of Arcadia Legends for gamecube a while back, so now i feel like i've experienced SoA to the fullest. the battles kind of slow the game down, but otherwise it's a great RPG.

And while you're at it, why does this emote have your name on it?
