Nintendo DS Makes Film Debut

Today, Nintendo announced that the DS will take its own "starring role" in a feature film. Upcoming "teen spy thriller" Stormbreaker will feature the Nintendo DS as the "ultimate spy gadget."

a Hot Rod Red Nintendo DS, which he is able to use as an eavesdropping device, a wiretap detector, or -- yes -- a smoke bomb.

Nintendo was careful to point out that it does not intend to make spy-related DS functions available to the general public.

With a handful of exceptions I'm just about ready to give up on movies altogether.
