Click Clock Wood is said to be tedious too, but I enjoyed it. Instead of replaying the same level many times (Rusty Bucket Bay) you play 4 variations on one level. I would save the notes for last on that one, because there is a lot of ground to cover, and you'll understand how the level works enough that you won't have to backtrack.

Yeah, and each section in Click Clock woods is almost the same size as a regular level. Miss one note, and good luck figuring out where you missed it. When you get to Rusty Bucket Bay, do yourself a huge favor: start off by exploring the engine room (the most difficult room in the game). Don't drop into the room under the big TNT crate until you've found everything else, as the toughest boss in the game resides in there (although I hear it's possible to get the Jiggy without beating the boss).

My recent playthrough I actually went and collected everything, including the items that don't count towards your game total. Some of those Mumbo Tokens wound up being the end of me. And of course, I went and got the Ice Key and all six Mystery Eggs. A real shame Rare didn't go through with any of their transfer ideas.

Banjo-Tooie, I also endured and found everything. Except I seem to be missing 6 cheats, and I have no idea where to find them. Unless they're more cheats that you can only find on the internet.

Anyone know if Banjo Tooie requires the expansion pack?

It doesn't. It was in one of Rare's plans for the Egg/Key transfer system, but as said, that idea was scrapped in the end.

Though I think using the Expansion Pak would've been beneficial. Too much slowdown in the game.

I was really angry that the mysterious door and the key never amounted to anything. Fan-****ing-tastic.

Yeah, I played the game way back in the day before I had the internet or anything, and trying to figure out the mystery behind that key drove me completely insane.
