Aaaaww, nothing more sweet than one's love with a video game. *snuggles with Xenogears*

I have a thing for games that don't try to tell a story and focus on the game aspect, like DWVIII, the Mario & Luigi series and Pokemon.

John Mora doesn't have an "Optimus Prime riding a delicious corndog in space" signature.

I wasn't too fond of the PS1 Tales of Destiny 2 (I forget what it was called before) but it really didn't have a very great cast of characters and felt like it had been raped by the US Censor board.
Aw, you didn't like Tales of Eternia? I floved that game, warts and all. Sure, the voice acting was pretty bad, but I really got into the game and loved the four main characters to the point that I pretty much never used the other two characters. I thought the AI of your party members was a LOT better than in ToD (they'd actually run past you to whack at the enemies, and you could set it so that they'd use magic effectively and not just waste their TP unless you disabled certain spells, and I always knew that they'd have your back and heal you when you needed it). I loved the look of the game, too. I mean, how can you not love a game that has a section where you enter the body of a creature you defeated previously and view the battle from their perspective and realize how heartless you were?

It took me a while to get into it, because the combat feels a lot different from that of ToD, though.

Fun fact (If I'm remembering correctly): on that recent list from Famitsu(?) of the 100 Best Games, Tales of Eternia was the highest ranking Tales game. It's also interesting that they're making an MMO out of it.
