Why did The GIA tell us that Chrono Cross featured a scene that takes place in Lucca's burning house?



How much more AWESOME would it have been if we didn't know about it?!

That's every bit as despicable as Ultra Game Players spoiling Aeris' death.

GIA??? Seriously this is the first I've heard of this considering Chrono Cross has been out for for awhile. I've played this game and only thing bugged me was what happened to Chrono?? The refences to Chrono was Lucca's house and a somewhat obscure mention in Chronopolis...Sure Lynx killed Lucca, but what of the rest of
the group?

There's a movie at the end of the Chrono Trigger remake on PSOne that displays the fall of the Guardia kingdom at unknown hands. We can assume that Chrono died either during or before that.

Lucca was probably killed before Guardia fell, since Kid drew pictures of the entire gang.

Marle probably suffered the same fate as Chrono, since they married eachother.

It's also safe to assume that the entire gang kept in touch with eachother after Chrono Trigger, since Kid drew pictures of even Ayla, Frog, and Robo.

And I hate that Crono could be taken down by a simple coup. Didn't he still have Luminaire?

Also, is there same way I can just watch all the PS version cut scenes without playing the PS version?

Eh, Chrono Cross' entire plot gets pretty bizarre as it goes on anyway. And it lacks the emotional punch it could've easily had during many parts.

They did, but in one of the main endings they still have the Epoch, so...

What remake? I've played CC and I didn't see this scene even in the alternative endings? Unless you're talking about when Kid got the Flame and took over the island.


As for Robo I think Lucca incorperated him into FATE as a fail safe circut which
got wiped by FATE/Lynx

They put Chrono Trigger on the PSX with Final Fantasy 4 and called it Final Fantasy Chronicles. That is what Denethor is refering to. Not Chrono Cross.

As for Chrono Break nothing happened to it. It was just one of the millions of names that video game companies register every year.

They put Chrono Trigger on the PSX with Final Fantasy 4 and called it Final Fantasy Chronicles. That is what Denethor is refering to. Not Chrono Cross.

Agreed. I can't think of a sequel in a video game series that disappointed me more than CC. I mean, I still liked it somewhat, but it came nowhere near Chrono Trigger in my book.

I enjoyed it. Possibly more than CT. But CT whallops it when it comes to coherency.
