You can tell most of you who say this sucks has never played it. If you did, youd know that getting to level 50 only takes about 2-3 days. RO wasnt really that hard, as long as you knew what you were doing.
I still love PSO, and I'm looking forward to PSU. Certain gamers like online games. Others don't. HUZZAH!
:O
I'm renewing my Blue Burst soon. I dunno why I still like PSO.
But obviously, it stays in my heart for some reason. I think a lot of my friends on PSO are the same way.
I had to quit FFXI actually. I felt bad about it but... the monthly fee paired with the fact that no matter how strong I got I'd need to rely on other people to get anywhere was frusterating.
A bit dull too.
I won't start WoW since it might be another disappointment to myself that I paid for.
I HAVE played RO. It just wasn't my cup of tea. Heck, when I had a crappy computer, I always wanted to play RO but couldn't. After I actually played though... :X
Its a simple fact of MMORPGs that you have to rely on people to get anywhere. It's like saying you hate an FPS because you shoot guns.
FFXI was boring because it was a japanese MMORPG. And by this I mean, the game is primarly comprised of long gindfests and party composistion has to be absolutly perfect to get anything done.
World of Warcraft is better because it is more flexable in party composistion, and it is entirely possible to solo 85% of the way up to 60. The only thing that kills it, is the content post-60.
