Why do I have a feeling about 3/4 of the total profit for this is going to come from people who bought it simply for the FF XII demo. It'll be Zone Of The Enders, round 2!

Well no duh its a marketing ploy for Americans to buy a Dragon Quest game. But if they create new fans of the DQ series of only 25% of those who buy it for the demo then mission accomplished.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm only buying DQ8 this early for the FF12 demo. I probably won't even get into DQ8 until after the semester ends. Of course I'm having my wisdom teeth out then so I'm going to have a solid week of lying around recovering so it works out nicely.

I have probably spent over 10 hours on the demo. I got up early waiting for the store to open so I can go get the game.

If they say its going to come out on a certain day it should. How hard is it to get the game into stores on the day it comes out. Or just say its release date is one day later so I don't have to call and go all over town to find something that isn't here.

I only played up to the waterfall boss, where I got my butt kicked. I decided that I wouldn't waste time leveling up in a demo.

I just got back from Best Buy, no sign of DQ8. Gamestop apparently isn't getting it for another week. I don't get why this **** is such a chore.

Okay, so I check Gamestop's website and they're good with the game. So I call the same gamestop store who just told me they aren't getting the game and yeah they'll get the game in today. They might even already have it. Who knows in this crazy store. It might be sitting in the back as we speak just waiting for someone to put it on the shelves. Then why the **** isn't it on the shelves.

Well, after a ****ing hour of waiting for BRANDON of GAMESTOP to check the people who reserved Dragon Quest 8 and Wild Arms and then listening to his lecture on the gamestop card and how freaken cool it is to buy and sell used games I got my copy of Dragoon Quest 8 just in time to be late for work. I swear if there wasn't a cop behind me BRANDON of GAMESTOP would have been *****slapped.

I'm mad at gamestop. I called there to see if Wild Arms Alter Code: F came in, and "Jenny" wouldnt quit trying to sell me on Dragon Quest 8, and of course it has an FFXII demo! wooo. She honestly wouldnt shut up about it so I just hung up. I wonder how much Square paid gamestop to rant about this game.
