Valk, you also get some pretty good game discounts with PS+ also, and that discount doesnt go away, so if you arent afraid to buy something on the PSN after this, it gives you the opportunity to get stuff.

Personally, i'm not less inclined to purchase things on the PSN or even use a credit card, as the amount of security that i think the PSN is going to have will be staggering compared to everyone else, JUST because Sony is going to take an overabundance of precaution.

Nintendo doesn't store credit card numbers at all.

Kind of hard to beat that.

I really wish the others would let you do that, just put it in every time you buy something.

Actually, i always hated that about buying stuff on the Wii, thats why i only buy points cards for the Wii.

I disliked the one time I put my debit card number into a friend's 360 to purchase a game for him, thinking I could immediately remove it afterwards like on PSN. I had to call Microsoft to get it removed, and they said it might take a few days for it to be removed.

As for PS+, most games DO have a time limit, which will show up when you hit and look under information, but there are at least 2 or 3 that I remember getting free from PS+ that did not have a time limit.

The games you purchase with discounts are yours to keep, but most of the free stuff expires when PS+ expires. The free PS1 stuff does not expire, if I remember correctly. Just the PSN stuff does. All I know for a fact is that the week I signed up, I got the five Sam and Max games for free, and those do not have an expiry date on them.

YEAH FREE ****!!! At least i'll get something i've bought alot of psone games on the psn and content so it make me happy they gonna give me something. for the downtime.

I've been considering PS+ for a while and this talk is helping me lean towards that decision!
and has Valk's Cloud question been answered yet? maybe I missed it but i'm curious about the cloud saves as well.

I'm not sure about the Cloud Save thing, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough when we get a month of PS+ free.

I would much rather prefer some free PSOne Classics to be honest. I still have to buy a few of them...

I want Legend of Mana and Resident Evil 1/2/3... they're the only games I want that I don't own on a disc or digitally.

Then again.....I don't even care that the PSN is down, the only online I play is mostly Uncharted 2 haha.

Yeah i have 2 and 3 on my ps3 because leon's disk didn't work and 3 froze up at the end. I have both the original of the first one on disk though got for 5 bucks at a pawn shop still works like a charm.
