I know that the Doom music linked above was creepy, and I am going i nthe opposite direction. But anytime I think of FPS music I think of good ole Duke's theme.

Video game music really does deserve more recognition than it gets.

Yeah, because the average iPod isn't seething with Justin Bieber, Nikki Minaj, Lady Gaga, or LUPE FIASCO! The average iPod is just SO chock full of video game music!
IIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii don't think video game music is underappreciated.
I'm inclined to agree. it's good music, buuuuuuuuuuuuut it really only works well when you associate the moments from the game with it that it really means anything. otherwise, it's just a bunch of sort of classical music or whatever
