    Re: Mortal Kombat 2011

Normally I'd say don't hold your breath, but they already have Kratos in there, so nothing would surprise me. Especially since it's Warner Bros., a festering ass-crack of a corporation.

I'm late finding this out, but, two DLC characters coming sometime sooner are Kenshi, and a new character (originally a glitch from early arcade machines where mileena/kitana/jade turned red). You can actually see her chained up in the colosseum stage.

I managed to beat the story mode. The last battle is easy when you just spam lighting bolts nonstop.

          Great story.

Challenge Tower is a lot of fun. I think I am around 19.

The rumor so far are 3 DLC character packs: Kenshi & Scarlet (I guess Kenshi isn't blind yet) next month, Frost & Tanya the month after (a 3rd sub zero? ), the month after that all the classic costumes are available, and the month after is Mavado & Rain.

They showed scarlet's on the disc and hacked to play as her, but she has no moves, no damage, no intro or win pose or anything, they probably just hacked her model from the story mode/backgrounds and used it.

I guess Tanya and Rain fill out the ninja roster, and Mavado had potential but was retarded in Deadly Alliance, so I'd like tos ee him get another shot. Though if they wanted more characters from the "new generation" I'd have gone with the more radical designs like Drahmin, Nitara or Ashrah (to have a non-slutted up female in the game).

Finally, I guess pricing has to be a factor :/ I didn't want to spend 10 dollars for two MVC3 characters and might not want to here either.

$5 each for Freddy and Jason, I can accept, but it would be nice to have regular DLC characters between $3.00-$3.50. Something more reasonable if there's gonna be several of them for sale.

Blazblue charges $8 for their DLC characters.

People hacking the game to make bosses playable. Profiles also revealed for them, meaning they'll be unlocked later, or it's just something the devs left in there.

I hope they're not playable online...

Man, they are SO overly fixated on ripping bodies in half with this one. Goro did his secret fatality on me the other day. And Shao Khan did his first one on me recently too. Kintaro was already confirmed as DLC so it's not surprising the other two are set to be released too. Hopefully they'll be nerfed in playable form.

So is it true you can babality the bosses by doing it on every fight leading up to them or do the videos come from people hacking the game? I tried to do it yesterday but Shang Tsung went and messed it up.

I never heard that for babalities.

In other news, Toys R Us mentioned on their site that the retro costumes can be downloaded on Wednesday, and the game will be on sale for $40 until the 7th. Kotaku's saying there's gonna be a fee for the DLC, but Boon's been telling everyone they don't plan to sell on disc DLC.

I never activated my Kombat Pass but now I can play online at least up until PSN store comes back. So who wants to kick my butt? Send me a friend request or however you do on PS3: ChuckRich81

I really like the game, but god the controls **** me off online.

And some characters have hitboxes that are just baffling, seriously, Jade's upwards flip kick ISN'T an anti-air!?

That's what he wanted, but it's ultimately up to Warner Bros to decide that I suppose. June 7th is the official date.
