Re: The vidya you got for christmas

I ended up getting Heavy Rain (my copy was stolen from me earlier this year by a big fat jerk), Enslaved, and Alan Wake.

for some reason, I beat Enslaved in one sitting. it's not that it's super short, I just literally played it all day long.

Sonic Colors. With a gift card I also picked up Muramasa: The Demon Blade.

Twilight Princess, and 200ish in gift certificates.

        And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road
And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope

Wait...I HOPE you're joking. I'm pretty sure there are more good RPGs on the DS than there are on all of the current gen (non-handheld) consoles combined.

EDIT: That's assuming you are including SRPGs, roguelikes, and all of the other subgenres. Hell, I'm still thinking there are more good turn-based RPGs on the DS than good RPGs (including all subgenres) on all non-handheld current-gen consoles.

Considering I've pretty much abandoned all hope for jRPGs aside from what SE can muster, no, I'm not joking. DS still has tons of great non-rpg titles though.

                  Just started playing Dragon Age.

                  IS THAT CATHERINE JANEWAY!??!

                  ...and that's why.

I got myself Blood Bowl and New Vegas through Steam. I reccomend both of them highly.

Really? No Etrain Odyssey or Strangle Jurmpy or Mario and Luigi or Pokamans or Devil Survivor or Knights in the Nightmare or Mystery Dungeon or Contact or Rune Factory or anything?!?!?

Yeah, that was part of my point. Den is being willfully stubborn.

EDIT: Although it took me three reads to figure out what "Strangle Jurmpy" was.
