Dezaemon Plus PSN JP import ("shooter maker")

Thinking about downloading this. Basically, it allows you to make shooters, and has a sprite editor. It IS in Japanese, but from how it's advertised, there's minimal Japanese text. Which I do not quite understand, as I would surmise that this is heavily menu-based, and that all the menus would be in Japanese. It's compatible with both the PS3 and PSP, and allows you to trade levels made with others.

I'm wondering if anyone else here has any interest in this.

I downloaded it. I played it.

It's fun. You've got a sample game and a bunch of these other games created by people for two contests. Some of the games are awesome and kind of weird. The in-game editor, like RPG Maker, takes time to get used to. You create the power-ups, maps, ships, enemies, explosions, bullets, and even the title screen. It works like this: You draw a bunch of sprites and replace the sample ones. Then you place enemies and bosses on the map. If you get tired of the sample BGMs, you can make your own using the BGM editor. So, it's awesome and there's more of these games.

I'll reiterate my question above, but I'll probably pick this up in a bit here, as I now know at least two people to trade files with if it gets that far. Plus it'll give me practice making a shooter if I choose to make one using IG Maker.

The language barrier isn't bad. It doesn't take long to figure out what everything does.
