Sting developed Knights in the Knightmare. Atlus only published it. All Sting games are ridiculous like that. KitN is the worst, though. But at least it seems like the game underneath is interesting enough to warrant the front-loaded tutorial. I'd appreciate it if the game eased in concepts at an accommodating pace rather than throwing the player into a pool infested with sharks without teaching them how to swim. On one end of the spectrum, we have games like this but on the other we have games like FFXIII where it takes a good 20 hours until the game trusts that you actually know what you're doing and unlocks all its systems for you.
But as Perv mentioned, by and large most of their releases are worth checking out--especially if actually developed by Atlus themselves. BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY~
