So what do the graphics look like in person? Screenshots from when it was announced looked better than PSP but the review videos look about the same as DS.
Do you spend more time with the 3D set to full, partial, or off and why?
How does the circle pad thing feel?
How do you feel about the fact that the 3DS price is more than double what it costs to make?
Tried it out at Best Buy yesterday, and now I see what the "have to have it at a specific angle" thing is about. I tilted to the side no more than 7-9 degrees...ghosting all over the place. Up and down (or forward and backward) tilt was better...didn't get ghosting until probably close to 15 degrees.
They had Pilotwings as the demo game...I was not all that impressed. The analog pad was nice and responsive, though...much better than the PSP's analog nub. And granted this is still first gen software, but graphically, it only looked like a slight step up from the DS, and worse than the PSP.
Also, Dray, games out on the shelf before a system launch is not unusual, especially if it's a Nintendo console. Almost everyone adheres to a Tuesday release day, whereas Nintendo does their stuff on Sundays for their big (hardware and software) releases. So in order for the software to be on the shelf for launch, third party publishers almost always have their software out the Tuesday before.

I'll admit, the 3D effect is way cooler than I thought it would be. Street Fighter 4 is beautiful on it, if you want to see graphics (but it runs at 30 fps).

Full. I have no problem looking at it (though a couple friends have said "oh my eyes! right away, which I then tell them they can turn the effect down)

Feels pretty good, I prefer it for SF4 because the d-pad feels too small. I can't pull off double fireball motions w/ either though, sadly.

I think the start/select/home buttons below the lower screen sorta look and feel... slapdash? Like, I wanna wait to see what the next hardware revision is, to see if they make it a little sexier.
