I just realized that Monster Rancher DS, Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver and Final Fantasy XIII might launch within a few days of each other in March.

Somebody shoot me.

At least you have plenty of time to save them pennies. Put aside $25 every paycheck and you'll be able to get all of them.

More like Pokemon and Final Fantasy will cast such a large shadow over the release of Monster Rancher DS that it won't get a fair shot upon release. Tecmo can't plan for ****.

It's less about money and more about time. I usually play MR, Pokemon and FF games to death at launch. I'm not much on dividing my attention between titles I'm really big on, so I'll most likely end up playing them one after the other. That's going to eat up at least four months of my time. Then there's Super Mario Galaxy 2 in June.

I was hoping to get through some of my backlog between releases, but it looks like that isn't happening.

Play Monster Rancher first. Pokemon games (for me at least) are pretty long.

Oh believe me, I will. As my favorite game series ever, MR always gets priority. Since it never ends, I'll likely continue raising monsters while playing the other games after I achieve Master Rank.

I think the longest I've ever played an MR game from launch before switching gears was the six consecutive months I spent with MR3.

I really hope they dont release around the same time because Gran Turismo and God of War 3 also come out in March, and by then hopefully White Knight Chronicles will be out. And there are about 3 or 4 DS/PSP games that came out recently that i really want, and i still have my backlog to finish.

The only good thing is that i actually finished a game recently, (Ratchet & Clank CiT) YAY!
