Seems that most people here are more into RPGs, action/adventure, strategy, platformers, adventure, etc. Sure there's the occasional Gears of War and Halo fans, but remember which community you're in, Vonwert.
Exactly. That's pretty much what I play, with puzzle games thrown in. I don't really like racing games, they all look the same to me, and I don't even want to touch FPSs, fighters, or sports.

What's on my list? Pretty much continue to look for good used PS2 games, and see what I can find that I'm interested in. The ones I'm most interested in ATM are Mana Khemia (which I might still be able to get new) and God of War. Most of the rest of my list is tentative depending on what I can find. So basically, I've researched what's out there, so I have an idea of what to look for.

If I had more unlimited money, I'd seriously think about a DS. There's a pretty nice library on that system, and a number of games have piqued my interest. I don't care about the PSP, especially if it's going to go to just downloads. Still up in the air about the 360 and PS3, there's no exclusive on either system that makes it the one to get, and both have some exclusives that interest me. Supporting both is out of the question. Not really interested in the Wii.

I want a new xbox. I was hoping for one in time for Modern Warfare 2, but I couldn't get hired fast enough. I have a job now, so I should be able to afford it in the next couple of weeks. Other then that, Borderlands looks like the only thing really sticking out.

As Chuck updated his list, I'll do so as well...

Ended up getting Beatles: Rock Band, DJ Hero, Tekken 6 (w/ Hori arcade stick), Uncharted 2 (free at Best Buy sale with purchase of the latter 2), obviously Demon's Souls (multiple times), and Super Princess Peach, the first Professor Layton game, and Lego Battles all for the DS and all at Toys R Us' Buy 2, get one free sale last month. Oh, also picked up Muramasa for the Wii. It'll probably be my last Wii purchase until NMH2 is released.

Only other retail game I MIGHT get before the year ends is Dragon Age: Origins. I have been keeping an eye on this for a good portion of this year, and the excellent review scores and word-of-mouth here just MIGHT sweep me up into the hype tidal wave. Then again, I did that with GTA IV, and we all know how THAT game is looked at now that it's more than half a year since release.

Still gonna get Bayonetta in January, and contemplating those God of War HD re-releases, and possibly the new God of War when it comes out next year. I never had any interest in this series (for the most part), but the trailers and gameplay that I've seen just look unbelievably good.

The first god of war was great. The second was just basically extra levels, no real story to go on. But considering the price for having both games on a single disc, it'd be a good buy. I'm just curious if there's any extras for the re-release aside from trophies.

Preordered GoW3, and they sent me a code to download the E3 demo. Still in the middle of downloading. I really wish they made it available for everyone, rather than making a demo a pre-order bonus.

Nope, but thanks for the offer. Still saving up for the CoD Bundle.
