However it is kind of a big package to get all the games.
The original is Prophecies. And it is a long game. With 26 co-operative missions, and much more non mission material, like mosts mmos. The expansion to Prophecies is Eye Of The North. Which is pretty much a level 20 area where the game is very difficult and challenging. It doesn't have missions but a heavy quest line that requires you to unite 4 races to destroy a big threat to the world, I haven't done a lot of Eye Of The North. I've united like 2 of the 4 races because it's very difficult.
There is also Nightfall. Which introduces the classes Paragon and Dervish. There is 20 missions in nightfall and a fairly complex story line that will require you to do more then just missions.
And lastly is Factions. Which introduces Assassins and Ritualists. Factions only has 13 missions. But factions introduces alot of the PvP and the literal Guild Wars to the game. Overall you're looking at paying arround 60-100 dollars for all of this. But with every character at acess of these after buying them and since once you beat Prophecies you unlock hard mode you will never run out of things to do. I've been playing for a year and I probably still haven't done 25% of the things the game has to offer.

Granted, no Eye of the North, but still. It's very affordable.
That is a good deal. Because isn't Eye of the North only 20 dollars in the ingame store, or is it 30?
ALSO: Here's a video of just one of the forms of PvP in Guild Wars called Alliance Battle. Its 16v16 base capturing. For each base you control every 5 seconds you get 1 point. And first to 500 wins.
The most fun I have with the game is just trying new combos and making different builds. You can really be inventive with all the skills you get. So you could be a necromancer that summons minions to do his dirty work, or a necromancer that shuts-down melee, or sucks the life out of their opponents, or summons smaller minions shuts down casters and causes thier minions to explode while healing themselves in the process. For me, that's the main meat right there. You can do anything you want with your character and invent your own way of playing.
