Re: So, I got a PSP.

Not to sound like a douchebag, but a lot of those RPGs suck. I recommend these ones for you, Libby:

    Star Ocean: The Second Story
    Breath of Fire III (import)
    Tales of Destiny II (import)
    Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth

(Look at that, all of these games were originally available for the PlayStation.)

If you happen to really like Star Ocean, feel free to check out the First Departure seeming as they are both very similar. If you're into puzzle games, you absolutely need to check out Crush.

I disagree. It has hours of unskippable cutscenes which really annoys me. I bought a game not a movie. Plus the game stops giving you any direction right away besides when Lenneth listens for more hours of cut scenes, and then once you do get to the end chances are you didn't spend your time right and now everything is really hard and can't be done. Besides I could just play it on my PS1.

Actually played Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean on their origional systems. Are they now avalible for the PSP?

I don't know about Tales of Destiny 2, I was in love with the first one, and I don't know if that one can be a justifying sequal.

            PoPoLoCrois

Did Enterbrain pay you to say that?
Enterbrain had no role in the production or sale of PoPoLoCrois.

            I like the game.

I actually am not a big fan of playing the Metal Gear Solid Games, I love to watch people play them, but I am not very good at the stealth sort of games unless I have cheats.

It's not out yet, but go with Monster Hunter Freedom unite.

You want a love story? Well, there's nothing more heart warming than a hunter's love for killing big monsters and carving off their parts for materials and supplies.

Plus you get talking cats to cook you food.

                  I don't think I'd like Monster Hunter.

I don't like big boobs and I'm not Canadian.

Hmmmm... Not a fan of SRPGs, not a fan of Monster Hunter, not a fan of MGS... Why did you buy a PSP, again? }:3

I was under the impression that it was easy to play PS1 games on it. I was mistaken, and will probably change up the firmware once I've had my run with the basic software.

well, if you go to the PlayStation Store, you can download some PS1 titles to play on the psp. Not a whole lot, but you might find something. Crash Bandicoot, Suikoden, and some others.

One of the latest updates includes the store so you can browse on your PSP for games and demos.

So you bought it to pirate games?

With a name like PLAYSTATION PORTABLE it's kinda easy to assume it'd be simple to play PSone games on it.

no, I bought it to be able to play MY own games on the PSP, like RPGMaker. You know, things I already own.

                                Sony doesn't make that easy.
