This is what Gamespot had to say about it. They pointed out that Sony releases games both digitally and on UMD simuntaneously, and there may be two models of the PSP 2 to follow this pattern.

If this happens, then it would solve what we're complaining about. Then again, publishers might eventually want to go completely digital with their games, unless Sony makes some kind of policy against this. Then again, who really knows?
