    I'm not saying that the PS2 didnt have issues, although no one i know has ever had one, but my issue is the deliberate deception by MS.

    Valk I do the same thing, multiplatform games are ALWAYS a PS3 purchase first, I only buy exclusives on the 360.

      They didn't have enough QA testers, if I remember correctly. Combine that with a zealous desire to be first-to-market (I have to admit, it is a big advantage if you look at it from a business perspective), and of course they knew what was going to happen... but they didn't WANT it to happen. It was a mistake, it cost them big-time in replacement costs as well as reputation, and it's a mistake that I doubt they'll make next generation. You've got to remember that Microsoft is still pretty new to this kind of hardware.
