When I first played it, I thought it was made in RPG Maker XP with ripped graphics. That's how bland it is.

it's annoying, too. there's so much backtracking and a lot of the enemies just respawn.

While the Lost Sanctum was pretty neat for the first couple of trips... I wanted to kill myself after twenty... I may be exaggerating the amount of times, but I'm not sure. However, there is one part about it that made me feel tingly. Not so much any particular scene or anything just...

that it plays on the whole "dimension where the reptites ruled" bit that was brought up in Chrono Cross. Wish they did a better job at it, though.

So I'm playing the Extra Dungeon, Dimensional Vortex or whatever.

Got up to the (a?) boss.

Actually, I beat all three vortexes. If you do so you can fight a special boss in that bucket thing at the End of Time then you can get a new ending and weapon (don't really need that weapon at this point.) The strongest boss in the game, but my party's stats are mostly in the stars now (maxed out, they show stars in place of the numbers) so I didn't have too much trouble. It pretty much sets up for the events that bring about Chrono Cross.

You fight the Dream Devourer which is Lavos with Schala attached. Sound familiar? Yep, this is the the last boss from Chrono Cross before he evolved into the Time Devourer.

Maybe I should try to play this again. Got to some town (probably the first one) where the characters are dancing next to some tent or something. That's all I remember of the game so far. And some minigame or something where I was putting out fires or something. Or was that FFCC: Echoes of Time? Can't remember.

Assuming the thing with the fires was in this game, I played for at least an hour, maybe a bit more. Kept trying to get...whatever it was you get...from that minigame. Not sure I even needed to.

I dont recall any putting out fire thing.
if you were dancing around tents, you were in leene's square. which is about 2 minutes into the game.
