I think I'd be a Black Mage. short, kinda pudgy. I would easily be close to Vivi from FF9, actually, but I would have a sword I can make be surrounded by whatever element I choose.

if you were the protagonist of a video game, what stereot- uh, i mean what kind of character would you be?

i'd be a 13 year old boy that can expertly wield every weapon in the world and cast spells that blow up planets. my powers are based on friendship so if no one is my friend then i become weak (but i'm the main character so i have plot shield)

I'll be the old(read: mid-twenties) battle-worn swordsman who has forgotten what friendship and love are. Plus I have a cool scar over my one eye, but I wear sunglasses anyway. I wield a massive no-dachi capable of penetrating the earth's core, spewing liquid-hot magma all over my opponents. This attack obviously has no elemental attributes.

Oh, and I seem to have zippers all over my outfit.

I'll be the strange magician who lives on an island off-shore by himself and used to be a rising star in the mage's guild, but quit when my sexy professor who looks like JLH wouldn't put out, AND I made a magical serveant doll who looks just like said professor as my companion/maid.

I'll be the clean-cut young boy from bland middle America who enjoys beating the crap out of society's undesirables (i.e. hippies, cultists, business men, etc.) with a baseball bat and follows the orders of magic insects.

I'm not sure whether to post in this or not. It seemed like a good idea, but now it seems to have been ruined by people's posts. Or maybe people actually are being serious, and I just can't tell.

I still would have put it in the RPG General section instead of here... better crowd... mostly.

Edit: Just to clarify, i'd be like the NWN and FFT style monk, not the Guild Wars kinda monk. Screw that "i'm a healer" crap, i want the "i can kick ass, but heal in a pinch" thing.

I'd be the perky optimist protagonist (not necessarily the hero, they can be two diffrent things) who tends to have a low self-esteem and moodiness that she uses her outer optimism to hide. I don't particularly excel in anything IRL, so I would probably be one of those creative fighters that can make a weapon just about anything, but can't wield it with deadly accuracy...

Then again, I could always be the plucky comic relief.
