    The Console War!

    I hate how Sony and Microsoft pay the news companies to say that "The PS3 and XBOX360 are making a comeback!"

    First thing, correct me if I'm wrong but contrary to the news stories there is an ABUNDANCE of Wii's not a shortage....

    Second, The Wii has sold WAY more consoles than the others...

    And Third thing, the PS3 is still a rip off and the XBOX360 still sucks...

    Meh, whatever. The 360 still has the best-designed game console controller of all time. :P

      Post a legitimate topic, without using things like, "Microsoft and Sony pay news companies...." LINK PLZ! Give me proof; or "PS3 is a rip-off and the 360 still sucks"....If you wish to fuel the fanboy flames, which is now prohibited in this forum, you might get some responses to this thread. I think that the way you posed the question, and the "proof" and ideas you represent will subject this thread to a quick demise (at least I hope so).

            This topic... is stupid.

            Microsoft and Sony do not pay news companies to post about them making a "comeback". the 360 never had a major slow in sales in the US, so there's nothing for them to come back from. I'd love to hear why you say the 360 sucks. best game library and online service out of all three current consoles? yeah, that's ****ing terrible.

            and the PS3 is making a comeback. its selling well, Sony actually underestimated current demand for the system and are bumping up their manufacturing to accomodate for it. and of course, in two months, the most anticipated game in years hits the PS3 exclusively.

            The PS3 is not a rip off of anything. it's controller did a bad job of ripping off the wii's motion controls, but that was two years ago, it's time to get over that, or just shut up about it. Sony did plenty of stupid things in the past, and people were justified in making fun of them for it. but they aren't doing those stupid things any more. they learned from their mistakes. they moved on, now you move on.

            there is no abundance of wiis. they have been in short supply since the system's debut, despite nintendo ramping up production to 1.8 million systems a month.

            We're hitting a period where all three consoles will be doing great, along with both handhelds.

            the "console war" is ****ing retarded.

              Even with actual proof to your claims, this would still be a really bad idea for a topic. It's just asking for a flame war.
