Where've you been? Not only is it coming out on both at the same time, 360 is getting exclusive downloadable "episodes." No body knows what or how good they'll be yet though.

On a brighter note, while I wasn't able to find a copy of Oblivion, I did find Ninja Gaiden Sigma Collector's Edition. With coupon and my edge card, I managed to get 35% off. I also preodered the special edition of MGS4. I'm feeling pretty good right now.

I pre-ordered MGS4 today and got the beta key. I guess I'll need to pick up a PS3 this weekend so I don't miss out on it. The 80g are going for $500 right? I wouldn't mind having the backwards compatibility of the 60g but it seems you can only buy them online and they're mostly overpriced.

The 60G was discontinued a long time ago. The 80G Motorstorm bundle was discontinued to clear them out before being replaced by the 80G MGS4 bundle. So until July the only sku currently running is the 40G.

...but GTA IV is set to completely redefine the idea with expansions that are to GTA IV what Vice City or San Andreas were GTA III. Yes, Rockstar is clearly hinting at new downloadable cities; and the chances of them being London, Vice City or SA again are slim to none. So that's new as in brand new. GTA IV's Liberty City is the beginning. Think about that and be excited.

Oh, I really doubt the DLC will be an entirely new city. There's no way RS could create that in between now and August.

The 40 is the barest and cheapest model. It's like the 20 except they took out the PS2 compatibility and threw in wifi. I don't know if they still come with SpiderMan 3 on Blu-Ray.

no blu ray discs are included in any PS3 systems, although they may have another "five free blu ray movies" offer.

the 40GB version has no media card slots, only two USB ports, isnt glossy, and has no chrome (using normal silver paint instead). the lack of a glossy finish keeps it from being such a dust magnet though. and yeah, it cannot play any PS2 games (so no HD upscaling and internal PS2 memory cards for you!), but it does have wifi.

the 40GB version also has the ability to clean itself using a special fan cycle that was just recently discovered.

I guess I'll scour my city to see if any of the stores have the 80g. There's always a chance the lesser known stores might still have it like Sears or a few furniture stores that I know carry systems. Either that or I'm waiting for the MGS4 bundle.
