I bet the new version doesn't come with the soundtrack or the art book. Plus, this is just like a greatest hits release, so I'm not mad.

Still going to pick it up, even though I do own the original. It's a great game, albeit frustrating in many places (WAYYYYYYYY too many bosses use Charm and it's way too effective).

Regardless of what this game comes with or how many copies they distribute, I guarantee this game will become SUPER RARE on ebay within the month.

For that game, a guide to see what the boss' weakness is (if any) isn't my definition of cheating. Neither is looking at a monster fusing chart. Especially when the final boss is only able to be damaged by one attack in the entire game AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Oh, I get it. When the noble John Mora deems a game too hard to be completed of his own wit, using the guide is just fine. Guides are a WEAKNESS, especially on the first playthrough. Weakling.

D-D-Double post.

I found a copy of the offical strategy guide last night at GameStop for $9. I'm guessing it was so cheap because I pre-ordered FES and the sku must've made it out to be a promotion deal or something.

I just sold my copy for $62. I was only at the Beach part so I don't mind starting over. The game will also carry over all my stats (charm, academics, courage) as well as the Compedium, and key items that will unlock certain Persona. Yay.

Wait... so we can transfer the data to Fes or am I miss reading that?

This is what's carried over. I can't find the source to confirm it though... it's probably somewhere on Atlus though.

-Your Academics, Charm, and Courage rankings
-Your discovered Fusion Spells list
-Any key items you possess that unlock Persona fusions
-Your Persona compendium (However, the Personas in your compendium will be reset to their base level, stats, and skills)

Famitsu reveals Persona 4

This week's Famitsu magazine arrives in Japan with tons of information about Persona 4, the next installment of the quirky Atlus RPG series for the PlayStation 2. The sequel to one of the best RPG experiences on the PS2 so far moves the action from the city to the countryside, with the story taking the form of a murder mystery, chock full of twists and turns that will leave you guessing. The game includes a weather forecasting system that indicates when a murder is going to occur. Atlus is packing tons of gameplay into the new title, with 60-70 hours of gameplay and over 180 Personas (Personae?) for you to play with. Persona 4 is slated for a July 10th release in Japan, with a North American release almost a no-brainer, considering the reception of P3 in the states.
