    Re: Wii Fit

I plan on getting it. But right now my wii isn't workable, since I accidently vacuum the sensor bar wire and now have to get a new one. Ugh.

I'll just do what I normally do and walk everywhere I go. Saves me $90!

            Jackie got it.

Its quite embarrassing to use actually, even being in the room by myself I feel like Im making a complete ass of myself to myself.

I played for a few moments til I was like "this sucks" and turned it off and put GHIII in

Here I come Pav, like the Kool-Aid man barging into a funeral! Oh yeah!

              Re: Wii Fit

My BMI is 28, which is a fat lil' Wii (close to obese). I did all the strength training unlocked so far, did 20 minutes of amusing activities, then I went outside and ran for an hour around town w/ mah Zune. My current Wii Fit age is 38 yrs. old based on balance tests and my weight, I'm guessing. I'll be sure to post my progress er something.

Why wait for Wii Fit when practically every game has Wii ********* packaged right in it.

                      Re: Wii Fit

my BMI is 22 or something. my fit age is 27.

There's a lot of focus on balance, something I never thought was that important. The little Balance Board asked me if I tripped a lot while I walked.

The thing about this though, is that a lot of the actual workout effort you have to put in yourself. The game can't tell if you're faking or not into it.

Well why would you pay $90 for something like this and fake it?

                            Re: Wii Fit

I remember an EGM article say how extrmely easy it is to cheat the game. But it kinda defeats the whole purpose of getting it anyways.

Yeah, cheating on this defeats the purpose.

BTW, none of my friends understand how to do a proper torso twist in ab excercises. You're supposed to feel a burn in your abs and pretty much "crunch" that area so you feel a flex in your midsection. Is it really that hard to understand???

Even in a machine, it's easy and natural to twist using your shoulders instead of your waist. It's sort of tough for me so I don't bother doing it at the gym. I do inclined sit-ups instead and just twist side to side with each sit-up.
