Have you ever played any of the King's Quest games? They're chock full of such abstract tomfoolery.

The battle system was the best thing Wild Arms 5 had going for it, but all of the boss fights were ****ed because they all had ridiculously high HP. They were not hard - they just took forever to beat.

        This is not challenge, Japan.

I'm not quite so picky, though I generally check the PS2 boxes first to make sure there's a manual. I want the game to be in as good condition as possible, because in addition to wanting the manual for reference, I've got a kind of collector's mentality going where game condition and completeness has some importance.

Still, if there is a game that I want badly enough, I'll buy it without the manual.

              Both MMO and Regular RPGs.

Ar Tonelico I love ya, but I am never going to beat the final boss.
I hate games that are all grinding or all questing. Games need equal amount of both.

I also hate un-skipable tutorials, Games where they have skill points that are to exact. Exe. I was playing some Compter game, and the skill point was kill 25 Trogs. I killed 26 so I didn't get the skill point.
