You can beat it without the long shot, power grip, or high jump and a host of other power ups.

Yeah, I liked getting the Varia Suit in 10 minutes without the power grip/high jump boots. The freeform gameplay is what got me into play ZM even after beating it a bajillion times.

Yeah, you use the bomb jump. Pretty easy to do.

This is why I didn't like Metroid Fusion too much. That damn computer forced me to go here and there. No free-form at all aside from what you can do in between tasks.

I didn't like Metroid Fusion due to the built-in strategy guide (Adam) either.

Adam wouldn't have been too bad if he didn't know where Samus was supposed to go. I mean, they could've made it so the parasite messed with the systems that prevented Adam from accessing data from the areas.

I just found the next final boss a little too easy, even on Hard mode. I did like the Metroid boss remix that played during the fight. It was my favorite song out of the whole game.
