Diablo II question

Where is the Plains of Dispair? There suppose to be steps in the lower right in the Outer Steppes that leads to it but its not there! The game version is 1.11

Help please!

every field is randomized when you start the game or are you playing online? the area was probably moved to a different part of the same field. if you can do some exploring and you should find it somewhere in that field.

Ive checked the field two-three times over and no door, unless by some slight chance I missed it, do you have to complete any prerequisets(sp?) before the door appears?

no, it should automatically be there. other then taking to the angle tiral or whatever his name is their is no other prerequisite. it has to be there, just go around the whole perimeter until you find it. sometimes it doesnt show on the map if you dont go all the way over to the steps or you mistake it for a wall given the crappy map stuff they put on there to confuse you.

it 100% is there somewhere, just keep mapping it. it will be steps that look like the way from the last bastion of light to the first map area.

Ha, found it, just like you said itll be something stupid that looks like a wall, they had an archway over it and it registered on the map as a wall
