WMV, and they can be read from a portable device, or a disc.

There are file converters out that can convert mpeg(most porn video formats) to WMV, just gotta find em, try download.com

Actually a lot of cameras use MJPEG I believe, so she was partly right. Also the WMV should not come as a surprise, it is a Microsoft system after all.

My buddy's got a program to turn AVIs into (DVD format files...I forget the name), but that wouldn't be worth it, because it takes so long to render them. Unless that comment (Gou) was directed at Misty, then never mind.
