Graphics wise, the game actually looks really good. Only downside are the jagged edges to everything, and with an HDTV it's painfully obvious to me. Had those been smoothed out (I dunno how PS3 version is) then it would actually look like you're controlling the show.
Fighting a million evil krusty dolls with the EA logo so conviently placed on the front of their chests.
Gameplay.......meh. With Bart you have the sling shot and can lock on to the nearest enemy, but you can't manually aim with it which I thought was stupid, considering you have to be on top of a building to get to the Lard Lad's weak point.
And I just saw a simpson version of Ryu tossing a fireball during the demo movie at the end. o_O
My impressions: It's gorgeous... maybe I just didn't have the time to see the jaggies amidst all of the madcap action, but I thought it played exactly like a Simpson's episode should. The game play was a blast, although I DID think the powers were a little hackneyed and controlled rather clumsily... not to mention Homer's burp had almost no practical effect.... oh well... perhaps with some good back story and some tutorials, the powers will start making sense. On the plus side, the fact that they seem to transition seamlessly from animation to cell shading was a very nice touch, and the scenes were genuinely funny, especially Kent Brockman's color commentary. Gold.
