The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I thought Drakengard was pretty mediocre; it tried to be both Dynasty Warriors and Panzer Dragoon but couldn't manage to be half as fun as either.
...The plot being about saving your sister so you can have incestuous relations with her was pretty damn weird, too.

As for what I'd like to see them do.. More Front Missions (ones that actually get released here), and non-cellphone sequels to Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve, and Einhander.
At the very least I hope Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII lasts for less than the 10 years that they proposed it will.

I just hope I don't have to buy two versions of Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3 separately.

I can always skip having it on a cell phone.

I'm pretty sure I heard about a port of the first Front Mission coming to DS.

Only FM I played was 3. It was pretty good. For the first 20 hours. But it kept going.

Don't be a dope, Misty. You know they're gonna sell separately.

              And also: LEAVE SQUARE-ENIX ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE

I don't understand why everyone thinks Square-Enix is so "OMG SELLOUTS"

                - Valkyrie Profile 2, while nothing new, was a solid little romp.
                - Final Fantasy XII was--like cow said--damn near perfect.

And I'm looking forward to Revenant Wings.

Then you all turn around and whine that you want another Chrono game, another Parasite Eve or another Vagrant Story. Well, with the way things are going it's gonna happen sooner than later.

Just let them have their fun with all the Final Fantasy spin-offs. And with the way things turned out with XII I'm willing to let them.

Re: What Square Enix Should Do:

I want an FFVI remake in 3D. Keep the game itself unchanged. Same battle system, same dialogue(minus unintended grammatical errors), no cinema scenes needed(just make the graphics really good), same map designs converted from 2D to 3D, all the same enemy specs, all the same spells/abilities/items...

Basically FFVI updated to make use of modern technology.

I doubt Square would be capable of leaving everything other than the graphics untouched.

which is unfortunate. That game was the best FF I've ever played. I wouldn't want it to be ruined.

Nomura could find a way to ruin it!

Nomura's fine, but I like Amano's style better. Hell, I like the FFXII's art style better.

Mora, I'd only be a dope if I spent $120. I'm smarter than you think.

I am sick of people pointing to that stupid book. DIFFERENT SERIES. The people that made the game said that it wasn't connected to Xenogears. Thus it is not.

I'm sure they based it off it but officially they are not connected.

I'm waiting for FFXII to drop to $11.99 at Gapestop before I buy it and play it. I regret not having done the same for FFVIII and FFIX, but learned my lesson afterwards and got subsequent installments to the series for a very reasonable price.

Not official; obviously. Mysteriously follows the information and time-line from the Perfect Works written before Xenosaga was created; definitely. SAME DAMN GUY BEHIND XENOGEARS AND XENOSAGA; but of course.

How can you tell me that it wasn't the spiritual prequel or what would have happened if Square had let him continue? You know there is no way in hell that Namco would ever allow anyone involved with Xenosaga to say they made a prequel to Xenogears. It'd be like Nintendo making a game called Shenmoo 0 and saying that was a prequel to Shenmue.
