    Re: I bought A PSP

none of them broke. they fell apart. either the white part came apart at the seal, or the clear disc on the top of the case started to fall in.

Megaman Powered Up has been glued back together four times

Is that why they changed the UMD slots on the PSP2K? I was wondering why they did that.

I don't think the UMD slots would help. I mean, they just don't hold the game in place when open. The problem is removing them from their damn jewel cases. Those things feel so fragile when you're trying to get them out.

I said many, not all, and something must have happened with the price of Brave Story, cause i got it for $30 when i bought it (at EB).

I'm very surprised that your UMD's have problems Valk, I've never really had a problem with my PSP games coming apart.

Did you happen to buy them all from the same place? i'd say it could be a handling issue, but otherwise i couldnt tell you.

1 / 7 on the front page does not equate to "many" for me.

              57 are 39.99

              52 are 29.99

              So he is about half-right.

                  Nope.

I'm not the only one this happens to, a lot of people go through it. I'm just glad none of my games have ever blown apart in the system.

i dont believe they would, as the system does kind of hold the case in place.

I have a PSP now. Before I update the firmware, is there homebrew worth not updating for?

Besides emulators, playing ps1 games, playing games off your memory stick, cave story, star control 2, and direct x/video codecs nothing I guess.

                          Re: I bought A PSP

After going through all the trouble of installing custom firmware that wasn't blocked from the ps store it wouldn't let me play any of the demos I downloaded and none of the fixes I found worked so I'm just giving up and using the official firmware.

So I'm thinking about selling my PSP. No, this isn't like with the 360. I like PSP I'm just considering pawning the used psp 2001 I bought and getting a brand new psp 3000 (probably the Dissidia bundle). But that'd be silly and wasteful, right?

Re-install the CFW and sell it on the internet for advertising that fact for a small profit.

I think I'm going to buy a PSP Go late this year or early next year. I haven't decided but I'm leaning toward it.
