Why does my PS2 want to die. I keeps on making noises like it's on it's deathbed, coaxing me to buy a PS3 instead of a 360.

But I wanna play Gears of War and Halo and Bioshock.

maybe there's a timer built into the PS2 that causes it to start breaking down when sony thought the PS3 would be out . I know a lot of people who are having their PS2s start to crap out.
