and if I had a 360, it would have been boxed up after dead rising, taken back out for gears of war, sent back to microsoft at least twice during that play-through, boxed up, and finally dragged again out for bioshock, and then shoved right back in the box after that was done, if it didnt have to go to microsoft first.

well said valk.

i keep saying it but its soo true. if they want the wii to keep up these sales and figures their going to have to get more smasher titles out for it. i know a few people who have gotten tired of it and have sold it or pushed it in a corner somewhere. their on a roll with this revolutionary piece of genius but they have to keep that gravy train rolling. without the games to pimp this system it will loose speed.

everyone wants to try a wii now, but will they still wana play it in 6 months? get those damn games out for it!

games take time to develop. games that properly use such a new type of control take even longer to develop. no system other than the dreamcast has ever had a ton of great games in it's first year.

the people *****ing about lack of great games on the Wii need to look at the 360's first year, the PS3's first year, the PS2's first year. all pretty damn dry, with a few high points.

in the wii's first year, we have super paper mario, metroid prime 3, super mario galaxy, and super smash bros. brawl. thats JUST from nintendo.

pretty damn strong first year if you ask me.

Don't forget about Strikers, Zelda, or (depending on your POV) PBR.

The only thing I am worried about is next year. Because all thier juggernaughts are coming out of the gate, leaving 3rd parties to sustain with minigame crap while Nintendo works on sequels. When is Battalion Wars 2 coming out anyhow?

Although if I had a 360 I would be spending a bunch of time with Oblivion.

You forgot about Wii Play and all the dozens of other mini-game collections this system has chugged out.

Terrible games infest every platform. they're just slow to invade the 360 and PS3 because of how expensive the development costs are for them. once dev costs come down, the ****storm will hit them too. just look at the PS1 and PS2. 3-4 times more crap games were released every year than there were quality games.

as long as the high points are as high as they have been, I'm happy. hell, you could forever ignore every last retail game ever released for the Wii, and seal the disc slot closed, and it'd still be worth owning for the virtual console alone.

I hope that Dragon Blade games turns out decent. Does Wii have any action/adventure games yet? Closest I can think of is Zelda which never seemed like an RPG to me but usually is called one.

don't wanna split hairs but i think brawl is gonna end up being a 2nd year game for the wii. if it comes out when they say it's gonna come out anyway.



and numbers mean nothing when they don't support a persons likes and dislikes. everybody should know this by now.
