I've finally beat FF6 for the first time.

So how many years late am I?





Now after beating it, the Sephiroth battle in FF7 seems really dumb. It is practically a cookie cutter fight of Kefka. I don't think I can play FF7 again after that.

Oh, and some questions.... WTF is a Gogo and why do I care? How do I get Shadow back into my party after the world is in ruin? Most importantly, why do people give two ****s about General Leo? He played such a minor role... I don't get it.

Gogo's almost useless in my opinion except for a couple things. If you go into the Status menu and select him, you can alter his battle commands, except for Mimic. Kinda useful if you want to get a hard-to-steal item or stack up weaknesses really fast using double Debilitators with Edgar.

Did you wait for Shadow on the Floating Continent before you jumped? If not, the answer to that question is, you can't.

And Leo taught Terra to love! Or, something. Eh, I dunno either.

General Leo, despite being an Imperial commander, was someone of compassion. You haven't forgotten the scene with the Imperial soldier, have you? "You have a family in Miranda? Die in battle, and I have to bring the bad news. You have a life to go back to. Don't throw it away for nothing." He's worlds away from Kefka and Gestahl, despite his unflinching loyalty to the Empire. So he's considered one of the game's most tragic heroes.
