    Armored Core 3

I've been wanted to try out the AC series, and Valkysas recomended I start at 3, and so here I am.

So far I like it. It's fun to play, addictive, and very customizable. So far I've only played up to a few missions and done a few arena battles, but I'm really enjoying myself. I got it at a bargain, $9.99 I think it was really worth it.

I'm trying to get a good grip on all the stats associated with AC customization, there's a lot to take in.

I'm trying to make a nimble robot that packs a good punch, but I'm somewaht confused at what stat(s) I should focus on. I bought a new pair of legs that were fast but nearly died because of the lack of AP. Any suggestions?

Ah, I feel the expansion is sooo much better.

    *is a Silent Line fanboy*

As for your question is it for Arena or Missions?

Both, I'm stuck on the third arena, the guy is just waaay to fast and I can't stay on him.

Looks like a great game. If you find yourself enjoying it a lot, and have a 360, get Armored Core 4. Crunk can testify to its awesomeness.

I swear I always get stuck at the first mega mech in Silent Line. No idea why, but I can never kill him.

I personally loved Armored Core Arena for the PS1. Eight ball and all the other mechs.

All I can say is this game is HARD. It started off pretty fair and easy but it got so hard I'm losing every mission now. I'm still on the third arena challenger and can't even compete, I'm losing left and right.

I like the game but I have to admit, it's easily one of the hardest games I have ever played.

When in doubt, HEAVY DUTY. I can make it through most of the games with variation tank leg mechs. Then again, I've had years of practice with them.

3 IS HARD though. Silent Line was a bit more difficult, but I could get through it better (I guess?).

3 is better than the slow-motion cakewalk of 2 though.

I recently upgraded to a faster firing weapon than that crappy starter weapon, and I'm really seeing a difference. I've rose two levels in the arena just by firing a machine gun and runing circles around the enemy.

Yeah, once you can save up a bit of cash and get some better weapons its alot more fun.

                    I prefer the bazookas.

Here is what I do in SL:

2 machine guns with higest ammo (the 1000 ammo are nice)

Most armor you can get. Tank legs rock.

                      Huge targeting redicle.

Hold the left and right weapon buttons when target is locked.

Turn when needed, then sit back and enjoy.
