Seriously, though, I started playing Grandia with the Grandia II PS2 port. The graphics literally made by eyes burn up. I couldn't focus much and I felt something along the lines of retinal irritation after stopping for a bit. I was breaking into new glasses at the time, so I stopped indefinitely so as to keep my eyes from getting screwy. Perhaps the television was also involved in this?

Either way, I never picked it up again. However, mark my words, should I ever find a copy of the game for the DC, I plan on giving it one more chance.

Yes, I found something wrong with the graphical appearance too. I think it had something to do with the PS2 though, because I originally played and finished Grandia II on the Dreamcast. I found my eyes feeling perfectly fine. After my Dreamcast dissapeared, I bought Grandia II again for the PS2 and I also found my eyes hurting a little.

I've only played Grandia Xtreme, and man, did that game suck.

the PS2 doesnt have the texture processing or resolution that the DC has, so every DC to PS2 port looks like crap.

It's okay. I'm the same way with anime. Half of what I get off on in an anime is the design aspect.

I was on another site that had alot of the people whining about the damn MUSIC! THE MUSIC IS WHAT M A K E S GRANDIA, grandia. HOLY I wanted to kill them all. Talk about a bunch of know nothings!

I think Grandia III will be pretty cool. It seems that they are going with an airplane type theme.

As long as the airplanes aren't designed like knock-off Highwinds. If they are, I revoke everything nice I said.
