and my eyes on the ceiling
I whisper your name into the darkness
only to hear silence in return

I would slit my wrists and sell my soul
just to get a glimpse into your angel eyes
every day without you here in my arms
kills me more than a bullet to the chest
if I took my life to be with you,
would you hold me under your wings?
