That was to make up for the media backlash from the "Hell on Earth 2006" episode.

As the first episode of South Park I've caught in like six years it wasn't that great.

Man, talk about being three weeks late.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Steve Irwin jokes are so passe that they shouldn't have bothered.

It's kinda crazy, but I wouldn't have minded if they had done a whole episode about his death. Or did they do that already?

That's like doing a whole episode on Dick Cheney shooting a guy in the face.

Mora, that would be a great idea! You are a genius.

Better than a whole episode of Al Gore.

                    I may have to agree.

I'm not saying they haven't done shittier ideas. I'm saying that it would be a ****** idea, period.

I think they could have done something with it, like people killing sting rays in revenge or sting rays attacking and killing more celebrities in a concerted effort to destroy america because sting rays are part of Al Queda.

Also I think that doing an entire episode isn't as tasteless as just making the offhand comment. There's no effort to it.

I just hold flavor-of-the-month jokes in contempt.

Understandable, but what's the difference being being flavor-of-the-month and being topical?

Flavor-of-the-month has such a negative connotation that when one calls it that, you know right away they hated it(unless it's on a forum and you don't know if they're being sarcastic or not ). Most people aren't going to say "Flavor-of-the-month jokes are my favorite."

                                Topical: Catholic priests molesting boys.

                                Flavor-of-the-month: Steve Irwin.
