My mom got me a new air conditioner, but it's so powerful that it overloads the circuit if I have anything in my room on while the damn things on. she refuses to take it back and get a weaker one too. So I cant be on the computer, watch TV, or any of that while the air conditioner is on. michigan summers can be hellishly hot, so the things gonna be on most of the day. I'll probably only be able to drop in at night, or during the day via the PSP.

I can empathize. The house I'm about to leave was built it 1937. It has all sorts of electrical issues.
As for the AC, I'd just keep bugging your mom until she switches it.

I know what you mean Valk. It's 11 pm and it's JUST TURNING 80 here.

I know what you mean on the old wiring. There are a total of three outlets in my room, all on the same side. And with a TV, PS2, lamp, VCR, window fan, cell phone charger, boombox, etc. it gets to be a bit of a hassle.Originally posted by ValkysasComment
