    Re: Easter: Bah Humbug!

    By Cadbury bunnies, duh.

Sorry. Cadbury's a British company, I think, but it's popular in Australia as well. My Australian friend brought Caramel Koalas to one of our Japanese club meetings once, and they were delish.

American chocolate is usually low quality due to its method of manufacture. Trace amounts of rat feces and insects do slip their way into Hershey Bars, among other more disturbing things. Of course, many foreign products may have this problem as well, but in the case of the imported chocolate mentioned, a large difference in taste is noticed.

Just so you guys know, the candies associated with Easter (chocolate bunnies, etc.) have no significance whatsoever. Candies and colored eggs is not now, nor has it ever been, meant in any way to be religious.

No symbolism, nothing. These practices has always been for commerce- literally.

I don't know about that. Everytime I take a bite of chocolate candy I think "Amen!"

Don't they even have a law about how much insects can go into our food. Like they can only contain ?%. I am not worried though I choose to eat my chocolate.

Well, if you had chocolate, I do not know what you would choose to do with it besides eat it...

If you like it as it is, keep eating it to your hearts content. I'm not stopping you. Hell, I even eat it on occassion. Just understand what you are eating.

There are food products that are far worse offenders than chocolate in this regard.

Because you can TOTALLY COMPARE TUNA with CHOCOLATE.

I like tuna better than chocolate.

Wait, what's wrong with tuna? As long as it's chicken of the sea your chances of getting white meat are pretty high.
