    Why don't you die?

I feel like not enough people die.

We make a big deal out of death because it only directly affects us every now and then.

    Your thoughts?

Move yourself and your loved ones to Iraq or some country in Africa and see how your talent at death will skyrocket.

Umm... don't worry I will... someday (unless for some reason I was immortal then I won't, sorry). For right now though, I want to live my life to the fullest doing the best I can.

Well, humans have gained much knowledge over the years, technology has improved, and most of humans can survive because of their gains. They're fit.

And... unfortunately, people who live in those countries aren't fit.
        Sorry, but that's ignorant.

            Allow me to apologize.

It is just my general opinion that mother nature would get more benefit out of you and me as soil than as a human being destroying her.

            Feel free to disagree!

Hell, the avian flu is just a few years away.

                That sounds nice.

The avian flu - like AIDS is created by the government to weed out the population.

                Food for thought!

                    I'm really sorry about this.

                    I was pretty drunk.

                    And I didn't die.

I'd never really been affected by death until recently at my uncle's funeral. I didn't think I would get so emotional. I'd only met him twice in my whole life, once when I was a baby so it didn't even count. he was in jail my whole life, and I kind of resented him for it. I never really knew him at all. he would write me on occasion, begging me to write him back, saying he wanted to get to know me, and I, being a selfish ****ing brat, would say "then he shouldn't have gotten locked up in prison."
but he was gone then, and yet right in front of me. the most time I'd ever spent with him was then, staring into his open casket. and I talked to him for the first and only time in my entire life. and I couldn't hold it together, and I just broke down into tears, and I have no idea why.

                      </*****>

humans are the worst and best creatures of earth. we take more than we give back for sure, but we have the ability to repair what was broken too. most of us simply don't though. we only live so long, so we take what we want before we have to leave. that's how it seems to me.

mother nature would be better off without us as we are, because we ruin more than respect.

                          Re: Why don't you die?

My friends and I have often wished aloud that death was more commonplace, so that it would be that much more acceptable and less traumatic. We thought it would be great if death was a weekly, or even a daily occurance.

"Hey, why wasn't Will at rehearsal today?
"Will? Oh, he died. Just last night."
"Oh, damn. That's a shame. Looks like we need to look for a new Jean Val Jean."

This also ties into my desire for a natural predator for humanity - like dinosaurs, mutants, zombies, or the Predator. Widespread disease would be all right, too. I feel like if people died more often, everyone would be a lot friendlier.

Death occurs every day. People in general just need to stop being controlled by their emotions. But alas, the population is still too stupid to realize how bad the news is for them.

I think I'll stand on the opposite side of the room and say that death sucks. And unless you doubt my creds, I've lost 3 of my grandparents, and had a family friend that was younger than me all die, so I've dealt with it.
