well if he wanted to do venom maybe he shouldn't have cramed him in there with sandman.
srsly ****ing sandman. im pretty sure they made that whole duaghter dying **** up so it really wasnt just "hey i have sand powers i can steal way easier" like he was in the comics i believe maybe.
"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."
Umm, character development? Just saying I would think the main villain for a movie should be a little more than a common thug, especially a comic book movie.
but you see, he really wasn't the main villain. the symbiote was.
Some comic book movies can exist perfectly with multiple villians because they have cleverly crafted plot lines.
Batman Returns. Great movie. They get away with two villians because Batman doesn't get much screen time in this movie unless he's sharing it with a villian. He's the dark knight, this is a sequel we get the idea of what he is and what he does--he needs no development. Hell, catwoman is just as much of a main character in this movie as Batman himself.
Batman Begins. Liked it, but not as much as everyone else. RAG is developed at the same time as Batman, even though the viewer isn't really aware of it until the twist at the end. The scarecrow is a minor villian, and that's not bad because they never pretend like he's not.
As long as the story is congruent, and scenes are built around maximizing development for many different characters, they can get away with multiple villian movies.
