You guys really liked 28 Days Later...?

It was alright.

But some of it was REALLY lame.

The editting was crap. Jump cuts were really annoying.

Tons of dollys for no reason. I swear the director just got a new dolly and wanted to try it out.

The acting was kinda bad.

The lighting was HORRENDUS.

And there were a lot of plot and character points that made no sense.

SO......UH...........YEAH.

Rick's comment is just screaming for someone to crack a joke about it but I got nothing.

I liked it well enough. I thought it was a very interesting take on zombie movies other than just lots of shuffling and brains. Of course I only saw it once or twice when it first started playing on HBO, and I never managed to actually see the very beginning. I never really sat down and looked at it from a technical standpoint so I can't comment on editing and such. Maybe I should go buy it and do so.

I think it was a fantastic film. For me, it showed just how absolutely horrible people can be to one another while still acting like a self righteous ****wad. Danny Boyle has a knack for showing the true human condition. The way they filmed almost enitrely with digital cameras really contributed to the feeling.

Other than all that the movie just ****ING RAWKED!

I wasn't moved one way or another. It was alright. I think the original ending before it was audience-tested had a...somberer feel to it. The other ending lets the watcher off the hook a little.

And Gloomy, the mansion scenes with the military was real the purpose of the movie.

I would also like to add that I thought the ending was great. Jim figured that Selene could handle the infected more so than she could the soldiers while the soldiers really couldnt handle them at all.
