Yeah, you're talking about them awarding him the oscar as some kind of tribute to Ray Charles. And I'm saying that I would rather that have happened than it going to Clint Eastwood because he's Clint Eastwood.
The fact is that Foxx deserved the Oscar because of his performance, regardless of anything else.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.
Shawn of the Dead can go suck my nuts. The killing has to be half-assed serious to be funny. If I want cheap jokes, I'll go see Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Now THERE'S a real masterpiece!
Still think DoD should have made it though. The zombies are the best part...

I love Shaun of the Dead and the Dawn of the Dead remake was pretty awesome. The chess scenes were the best. I missed Harold and Kumar and The Aviator though.
Million Dollar Baby was good and the more I think about it the more I like it, but the ending makes total. Sense. Any other resolution would've been inferior. I congratulate Eastwood and company for sticking to their guns and giving the story its proper send-off. It's upsetting people care more about the stupid controversy than the integrity of the narrative.
And I had no strong feelings for or against Chris Rock. I'd rather have Steve Martin anyway. I'm just glad the Oscars are getting less and less lame as the years pass... I hope they bring back that Terminator theme...
I was dissapointed in Shawn of the Dead. It wasn't that bad or anything but it was extremely British. And I don't think that British and zombies mix very well.
